The company now expects adjusted earnings to fall between $5.45 to $5.60 a share this year, and shares rose 14% after the announcement. -Mandeep Singh, Global Head of Tech Research for Bloomberg Intelligence, discusses Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. raising its spending and revenue projections for the year, reflecting confidence that growth in demand for chips and data centers will extend into 2027 and beyond.

Separately, Uber Technologies Inc. has agreed to buy Delivery Hero SE in a deal that values the German food-delivery company at $14.8 billion and expands the US firm’s global operations.
